2025 Head Boy and Head Girl
̨UUApp is proud to announce the appointment of Xavier Petta as Head Boy and Emily Boudville as Head Girl for 2025. Both students have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and a deep commitment to the College’s values.
Xavier and Emily embody the spirit of ̨UUApp and their leadership will undoubtedly inspire and guide the student body throughout 2025. We look forward to seeing their contributions and the positive impact they will make on our community.
Meet Xavier Petta
Xavier’s journey at ̨UUApp began in Year 7, and he has since immersed himself in all aspects of college life, particularly The Arts. His involvement has opened numerous opportunities for growth and skill development, and he has formed lasting friendships along the way.
Background:
Primary School: Orana Catholic Primary in Willetton
Inspiration: Inspired by previous head students who were approachable role models, Xavier aims to foster a similar environment.
Vision for 2025: Xavier’s primary goal is to enhance the connection between the Junior and Senior schools, fostering a culture where being “Outstanding for Others” is the norm. He believes in recognizing that everyone’s version of outstanding is unique.
Leadership Qualities:
Courage: Stepping out of his comfort zone and trying new things.
Commitment: Taking pride in his role and responsibilities.
Compassion: Leading with empathy and consideration for others.
Fun Fact: Xavier has worked at Kmart Kardinya for two and a half years an can often be found in the Homewares section.
Favourite Memory: Playing the lead in the musical “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” and forming bonds with peers from both the Junior and Senior schools.
Advice to Younger Students: “Try everything and make the most of the opportunities and extracurricular activities available. By participating actively, you can demonstrate your leadership skills.”
Future Plans: Xavier is considering studying Physiotherapy at Curtin University or pursuing Music at WAAPA.
Meet Emily Boudville
Emily’s journey at ̨UUApp began in 3-Year-Old Kindy at Yidarra Catholic Primary School. Over the past 14 years, she has witnessed the school’s growth and transformation. Emily has always prioritized seizing every opportunity presented to her.
Background:
Primary School: Yidarra Catholic Primary School
Inspiration: Emily was motivated by the chance to make a difference and be a role model, inspired by the prefect teams since 2020.
Vision for 2025: Emily’s priorities include balancing her studies with enjoying time with friends and making the most of every opportunity at Corpus. She believes in role modeling as the most effective method of promotion within the school community.
Leadership Qualities:
Courage: Trying new things, such as applying for Head Girl.
Commitment: Participating in extracurricular activities across arts, sports, and academics.
Compassion: Checking up on friends, offering help, and taking time for self-care.
Favourite Memory: Emily cherishes memories from her Year 10 Music class, the Humanities Tour to Sydney/Canberra, and the Year 11 Camino Retreat, where she bonded with friends.
Fun Fact: Emily despises coffee in all forms, running on zero caffeine—a unique achievement among her classmates.
Advice to Younger Students: “Leadership isn’t just about leading; it’s about guiding. Offer guidance, collaborate, and be a good listener. Remember, your job is to serve others.”
Future Plans: Emily aims to work at Perth Children’s Hospital, specialising in paediatrics, and plans to start her studies at Curtin University in 2026.
