The ̨ž³UUApp 2022 Primary Athletics Carnival takes place on Friday 21 October 2022.
This carnival is an all day event. Students must come to school dressed in their faction sports uniform, and must bring their own lunch, drink bottle and warm clothes, in case of poor weather.
Students will proceed to class as normal at 8.40am for the roll to be taken, before being escorted down to the oval for a 9.00am start.
General Information
We remind families to consider other students when taking photos/videos on the day and ask to refrain from posting photos of other students on social media. The College photographer and staff will be present to capture events throughout the day.
Please note, spiked running shoes are permitted only for racing and must be taken off and stored in a bag immediately following the child’s event.
Please ensure sun cream has been applied prior to school arrival and all clothing / food container are clearly named.
Parents are encouraged to remain for the day and as such may bring deck chairs, mats and picnic items to set up on the oval surrounds, outside bunting barriers.
At 12pm, during lunch time, students are invited to sit with their parents and enjoy a picnic lunch. and They will be asked to return to their faction bays at 12:25pm to cheer on the Year 6 Sprints.
Presentations and Dismissal
Presentations are expected to be delivered from 1:30pm with the conclusion of the Carnival approximately 1:40pm
Following, all students will return via teacher escort to their classes prior to be collected by parents.
In the interest of the student’s safety, we ask parents not to collect their child/ren from the oval as teachers will need to mark off exiting students’ names from the classroom.
If you have organised an alternate family member or adult to collect your child, please inform your child’s class teacher via email by Thursday, October 20. This person will need to collect your child from their class (see above).
Students not leaving with parents will return to class to await the final bell at 3pm.

Presentations
Students can leave with parents after the presentations and event is complete. Please ensure that you check in with your child’s teacher and get their named marked off before leaving.
Students not leaving with parents will return to class to await the final bell.
