Faith in Action
The ̨ž³UUApp Christian Service Learning program – referred to as ‘Faith in Action’ – calls on students to ‘use your gifts to serve one another’ 1 Peter 4:10.
Serving people is one of the most fundamental beliefs in the Christian church and is one of our core values at the College. The reason behind doing service is to be challenged and push ourselves out of our comfort zone.
The two types of Faith in Action Service are:
Core Service: personal contact with a person or people being served or an activity that directly helps a disadvantaged person
Indirect Service: provides assistance to someone in the community
